Due to the continued deterioration of business circumstances and ongoing spam email attacks on our servers Outerscan Ltd are no longer able to offer ongoing domain name registration, email forwarding and web forwarding services which were supplied under the 1stNames brand.

Unfortunately we no longer have any paid staff, however the former company principle is willing to assists remaining customers on his own time in transferring their domain names to alternative providers. To transfer your domain names please contact an alternative provider, a few of which are listed.

To transfer your domain name requires written authorisation from the registrant. If the registant is an organisation (a company, charity, club etc) then the letter of authority should be on headed paper and signed by a member of that organisation. If the registrant is an individual then it should be signed by the registrant. In either case a contact email address should be provided as well as any relevant details from your new service provider.

For .co.uk, .org.uk, .ltd.uk and .plc.uk domain names the letter of authority must include your new service provider's IPS Tag.

For .com, .net, .info, .org & .biz you will need to get your new provider to initiate the transfer process and simple inculde their name in the letter of authority.
